There should be a high degree of contrast between the logo and its background.
In full color, the logo can only be used against white. Due to visual color vibration between the yellow star and lighter background colors, a secondary UCLA blue and black color logo should be used against neutral shades equal to or lighter than 30% black.
The reversed logo should be used against neutral backgrounds darker than a 30% value of black, or against 100% UCLA blue.
Against background values of 30% black or lighter, use the black-and-white logo.
Reverse the black-and-white logo on backgrounds darker than 30% black.
