The approved U Phrases (shown below) can be used on their own or together to provide additional opportunites to further bolster the UCLA Health brand message.
The U Phrases represent both UCLA Health and the patients we serve. In essence, they symbolize partnership—the partnership between our patients and the world-class doctors, researchers, nurses and staff, who are all dedicated to making a difference in peoples lives by providing the finest personal care and treatments available today.
There are three tiers of approved U Phrases to choose from. Whenever possible, look to use the primary phrase first. Secondary or tertiary phrases can be used in lieu of the primary phrase if they help support specific messaging points or imagery within the marketing piece you are creating.
It is important not to modify the U Phrases in any way as it will detract from the integrity of the UCLA Health brand. Please remember that any graphic representations of the U Phrases must be approved by the Marketing department before they are published.
