To make sure the logo is always clear and legible, there is a minimum size requirement. the minimum size is based on the width of the UCLA logo.
In print, the UCLA logo should be at least 0.5" wide. For online use, the UCLA logo should be at least 36 pixels wide at 72 dpi or 0.5" wide, regardless of resolution.
Note: Multitier logos require a larger minimum size based on the number of tiers.
In most cases the single-tier logo format is used only for UCLA Health System and the four hospital names under the system umbrella, such as Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center or Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA. However, there are exceptions to this rule.
When a program or service is not specific to a particular hospital under the system umbrella, a single-tier logo format may be used on consumer-targeted materials such as brochures, displays and signage.
Prior to use, all single-tier logo exceptions must be approved by the Marketing department.
