There should be a high degree of contrast between the logo and its background.
Whenever possible, it is preferred that the UCLA Health logo be used on a white background.
The reversed logo should be used against neutral backgrounds darker than a 30% value of black.
When the reversed logo is used the UCLA rectangle has a white line around it. If the background is dark enough to provide sufficient contrast with the UCLA rectangle, the UCLA rectangle should not have a white line around it.
Against background values of 30% black or lighter, use the black-and-white logo.
Reverse the black-and-white logo on backgrounds darker than 30% black.
